Facade glass cleaners by Alireza Pourkhan

I think the facade glass cleaners have one of the hardest, heaviest and most dangerous jobs in the world  because they always have to work at a very high altitude and usually in hot and humid weather, risking their lives for a small amount of money, but for the love of their families.

I think the facade glass cleaners have one of the hardest, heaviest and most dangerous jobs in the world  because they always have to work at a very high altitude and usually in hot and humid weather, risking their lives for a small amount of money, but for the love of their families.

In my opinion, all those who put their life, comfort and youth at risk for the success and peace of the family are very respectable. I took most of these photos from our window or balcony in an unstable situation from these respectable hardworking people when they were working .  It happened that I was able to have a short conversation with these friends ; the thing that was interesting to me is that despite the fatigue and difficulty of the situation they were in , how positive, hopeful and good-natured they were . Their job is really difficult and dangerous . I respect them .

About Alireza Pourkhan

Alireza has been passionate about photography for more than 30 years, ever since his parents gave him a Yashica MF2 as a birthday gift when he was 15 years old. Although he always wanted to receive methodical and academic education in the art of photography, it wasn’t possible for him. He learned this art from people and from the good and unfavorable events in his life, which have served as excellent teachers for him. He believes that a photograph can be far more impressive than, at times, hundreds of words. With an image, he can express his feelings perhaps better than with many sentences.

Since 2010, when he was able to buy his first digital SLR camera, he became even more fascinated and focused more on photography. He has managed to acquire 42 gold medals and more than 20 silver and bronze medals in over 250 photographic salons, contests, and exhibitions in 65 countries. He holds the distinctions of “Excellence FIAP” and “Artist FIAP” from the Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique (International Federation of Photographic Art), “Crown 2” from the Global Photographic Union, and “Proficiency PSA” from the Photographic Society of America.
