Sight is a continuous stream of visual resources that allow us to understand and interact with the world, but memory is selective and interrupted.
Coming from a Cinema background I tend to consider images for what they mean during a temporal dimension, and time makes them ephemeral. In an attempt to use them as memory tools, I shifted my interest towards photographs and found in their language a persistance that allowed a deeper, intimate dialog. This selection of images are reminders of both what I’ve seen and felt when exposed to worlds unknown, and little by little started to depict solitude, silence and stillness as common conditions to all of us that take place as very brief scenes within a loud, agitated an crowded reality.
