My name is Renee Robyn, and I love to create art. I began on paper but as I have grown my choice of expression has changed from pencils to pixels, painting with acrylic to painting with light.

My images come from a variety of places of inspiration. Some of them are from meeting with a client, seeing their energy and how fascinating they are. Others I will be sitting in the quiet darkness of my home and listening to the breathing of the wind outside, and my mind will wander. Sometimes it’s when I dream, in the places I visit while in the depths of slumber, where the laws of physics and reason have no hold. Often, I shoot an image not knowing what I will do with it until I am sitting in front of the computer screen late at night, waiting for the image to reveal what’s lying beneath the barely sketched canvas.

Photography is only the outline for the imagery, but the hours of post processing is often where I am happiest. I can sit with my choice of music playing into my mind, and just let the colors flow from my fingers to the screen. It is a very “zen” feeling when the exterior world melts away, and the only thing that exists is the feeling of creation. Whether I create for clients, friends, or just myself, I love watching the formation of an image come to life. [Official Website]
