Sara Victoria Sandberg | Cover | Sara Victoria Sandberg is a photo composite artist based in Stockholm. Born in Korea she was adopted at a very young age by Swedish parents. Sara spent her childhood growing up in Germany and Sweden throughout the years. Her first encounter with photography happened during her gymnasium years as she was part of a student photography group. Back then photos were still developed in the dark room. Later in life Sara lived in the big cities of London and Paris. Although having worked in business and governmental environments throughout her life, Sara has always had a great love for the arts and has pursued the medium of watercolors for many years. Sara developed her skills in digital photo artistry through attending various courses in digital art and has developed a personal style in her work where she combines photography and digital painting with her artistic vision. She works with light and shadow to mold the scene she visualizes into a finished piece adopting a combination of photo-realism and painterly style. 

Jo Ann Chaus | Conversations with myself | Jo Ann Chaus (b. 1954) is an American photographer from and based in the New York metro area  She holds two certificates from the International Center of Photography in New York City.  In 2016 Jo Ann self-published “Sweetie & Hansom”, a 60-image book with original text exploring family, relationships and loss.  Her current body of work, “Conversations with Myself”, is a collection of performative self-portraiture that explores women’s roles and identity, currently under edit for publishing.

Mohammed Arfan Asia | Dunescapes | Arfan is a hospital pharmacist by profession and a photoartist by passion. His photographic journey began in the mid – 80s in his native Bengaluru in India. Arfan’s photographic subjects are primarily landscapes and portraits with a preference for the monochrome medium. He has exhibited his photographs regularly in photography exhibitions and galleries all over the world in more than three decades of intensive photography and won many awards including the grand prix in Serbia, FIAP Blue pin badges for best author in salons, Trierenberg gold medal, photo of the year in Germany, Al Thani gold medal, among 850+ awards spread over 66 countries. Arfan has been awarded International photographic distinctions from various organizations with the first being the Associateship of The Royal Photographic Society in 1994 apart from, Fellowship of The Royal Photographic Society (FRPS), Master distinction of Photographic Society of America (MPSA), Excellence Platinum of Federation of International Photographic Art (EFIAP/p), Master distinction of Image Colleague Society International (MICS) and Master distinction of International Union of Photographers (MIUP). 

Markku Lähdesmäki | The Quarrymen | Born in Finland, Markku Lähdesmäki, developed an interest in photography at an early age of 8 when his uncle gave him a simple camera with black-and-white film in it. By 21 he had a studio in his then hometown of Tampere to shoot portraits, graduation and wedding pictures. Then a local advertising agency discovered him… especially one art director, Anne. And that’s how he met his wife. Soon after, Markku moved to London, upon which he garnered his first award: Honorary Mention/Warsaw Poster Biennale. A career as a commercial photographer became the reality that would eventually lead him to California with his wife and partner Anne and their two sons, who are both artists, Tomi, a graphic designer and Julian, a singer/song writer.

Andreas Theologitis | Bright Shadows | Andreas Theologitis is an architect – urban planner. He studied in Belgium in the 80’s where he had the opportunity to take part in projects that marked the urban texture of the city. In the early 90’s he returned to Greece where he still participates in architectural and urban projects. His involvement in photography dates from the age of the dark room. It was his father who gave him his first camera while he was at school and where he got to feel the light through the light meter of his Kodak Retina. At university he continued developing his own mainly architectural photographs. Intense geometric forms and dramatic framing marked his style. His photographs express in a powerful way the detail of color, texture, material, leaving the imagination of individual viewers free to create their own personal image.
