It was said to be the best blossom show since the late fifties. The spring was warm and many of the bushes bloomed at the same time, putting on quite a display in the streets and gardens.

Back in the middle/late 90s, I made an attempt to get into fashion photography. To that end I started working for new fashion and music magazines which were popping up in London at the time in order to get a fashion portfolio together.
My photographs start with a strong central “event” then comes location and colour. They contain surrealism, the unusual and the quirky. I use eroticism and frequently narrative elements to that lead the viewer to conjecture what may have happened before or after the frame was taken.
