My style is closely related (to) but not limited to fine art photography. About my personal style, I wouldn't say it has a specific description. I'm in a phase where I'm experimenting quite a bit so it's a "process in progress."

The name “Invisible Man” comes from the photo with the same name, the BW street photo in which there are some kids on a pedestrian bridge and somewhere in the frame is an old man that is not present in the reflection (I used some of the basic physics tricks). Hence, it came to my mind the idea of sole people – even though we are in a group we still can be alone.
Mike grew up in Pennsylvania and in 2005 moved to Arizona where he’s rarely cold and doesn’t have to shovel snow or cut grass. He graduated from Bucknell University with a major in English and a minor in Chemistry and still wonders what to do with them.

The artworks are just objects out of daily life, such as glassware, fruit, and nature. I notice them and create an image in my head. This happens during the day or I create when I am sleeping.

I work in several techniques, but what you are reffering to in ’Tale of the Blue Pear’ series are mostly digital collages combined with digital painting. I also paint in traditional techniques but that is done on canvas or hard board.

The initial inspiration for the cover photograph came from the Disney character Minnie Mouse however, the stereotype that is often placed on the female as being timid, much like a mouse, also filtered into my conception of the idea.

Walking through one of the camps I saw a kind of shack in which there were many people queuing. I approached them and noticed that they were waiting to dispatch what they had been granted in another shack. They had a sort of voucher and were waiting their turn to collect materials; mainly, canvas covers to build or repair their homes.
I probably use every tool imaginable to shape the images. It’s really a variety of techniques that come together that creates the affect I like. I clean up the surfaces very laboriously, and I do a lot of dodging and burning to make more minimalistic and smooth. I also do color shifting. The end product looks a world different than the raw files.
There is definitely a fine line that now separates documentary photography and fine art photography. I want to tell stories through my pictures and I like to create images that we can respond to, something that speaks to us.
I found film again some two years ago when I accidentally bought a Rolleicord camera. It simply looked awesome on a store shelf. I was immediately captivated by the camera itself, but I also soon found out that I can actually get the results I want with film.

I knew in advance that I wanted to create the portraits, but the where and how element can only ever be tackled once you’re on location and found a spot that grabs you, and then you have to work with the weather that you are given on that day.
I would not define this as a religious encounter; I would define it as a meeting between cultures, between different societies. Unfortunately, I have not yet been part of a women's talk after the beach activity.

Great. The quality is very good and you develop the photographers work on 14-16 pages which is interesting for the viewers and allows you to understand the work.
I think it has a distinctive design. I really like the cover. The full-page portraits of the featured photographers are unusual and, I think, effective. At the end of the day, what really counts is the content – the work that the magazine presents. In general, I find the content inspiring.
The essay "Life Force: What Love can Save" began because disability is an issue that I have always been interested in addressing, understanding, questioning and deepening. It's something that crosses me personally and I think that's why I feel like a need to go exploring.
Dodho Magazine is simply amazing. I can say it happened by mere happenstance when during my first visit to Wilson I met a woman from Senegal who settled down there after many years of living in Italy.
The recent print edition is fantastic, you’ve been kind enough to give me seven double-page spreads with a beautiful and comprehensive overview of my most recent series – Fires, 2018. The paper and print quality are also exceptional, thanks again Dodho Magazine!
I believe that the magazine is very well made and above all, it offers the possibility for emerging photographers to express their artistic vision with great freedom.

I absolutely love Dodho magazine! Everything is in good taste and quite beautiful. I am currently working on adding more images to my project “Meditations”. After that I have another project planned that is related to animals as well.
I like printed images. There are so many online magazines, but I feel a photograph should be seen on paper. So, I love it that you have an actual magazine available to your readers.
I love the printed edition of Dodho Magazine, I think the layout really showcases the photographers and photographs beautifully. The quality of the magazine is excellent and in a world increasingly dominated by digital media it’s crucial for print media to stand out and that’s what Dodho does.

I already have a good opinion of Dodho Magazine for the web, but I have to say that the printed version is really really beautiful. It is a very elegant magazine and always full of good contents.
When it came in the mail I was never more excited, it’s truly a beautiful piece of art. I am very happy and honored to have been a part of such a magical magazine that celebrates the love and art of contemporary photography.
But once I got it in my hands, I couldn’t tell any difference between your laser-printed edition and a traditional magazine. The highlights, midtones and shadows are perfectly balanced.
I think it`s a great platform for young artists to rise higher in their career and get recognition from other institutions.
Once again the work of different photographers has been very well chosen and combined in this 04 edition, which is a perfect visual and haptic completion to the online dodho magazine.
