To me, horses are inspiring beings. You can learn a lot from them and in turn they teach you a lot about yourself.
With my pictures, I did not just want to portray the elegance, power and grace of the horses, but inspire people to bring fresh air into their thinking. When you arrive at a certain point in life where you do not know any more, in many ways. Or being in a low and needing motivation. On the other hand, these photographs are meant to show that animals, in this case especially horses, give us so much back if you give them the necessary respect, trust and love. In order to transport the emotions unveiled, I decided in this case for black and white. Every single photo should tell its own story, but all together should form the big picture.
About Pia Fabienke
Pia Fabienke is an award-winning equine photographer from Germany, born in 1997. Since horses always accompanied her life in some form, she started to photograph them in 2017. She continues to educate herself as well as possible in order to refine her work. Horses have always been fascinating to Pia. Last but not least, they are graceful, egelgante and powerful creatures for her. She loves to capture the different characters of the horses. Beside the coloured pictures she have a fable for black and white and clear shapes. Some of her photos were nominated in different International Photography Awards and in 2018 she won the 1st and 2nd place in one of the categories at the Neutral Density Awards and the Monovision Photography Awards with two of her best photos. Her intension is to pursue her passion full time.
