Fascinated by the inner power of personal relationships within the family, Kata Sedlak documentary captures various moments of her children Stella, Oliver and Alan, getting familiarized with the world, oneself and close relatives.
With 100 % intensity and within 100 m², she layers them into a flowing universal story which black and white image is filled with water, sky and the safety of home. From an everyday life of last year spring, summer and autumn, she creates a childhood puzzle, in which everything happens now and fully. It radiates Oliver´s and Alan´s childabandonment and the immediate joy of discovering, dynamically surrounding the melancholic gentleness and tension of Stella´s adolescence. Without needless sentimentalism, Kata Sedlak feeds us into the fragile mainland of childhood, silently whispering to each of us.
