“Dramagraphies”. A series of selfportraits of Michel Lagarde
I’m not a photographer in the customary meaning of the word. I’m not taking pictures of the existing reality. I use the photography and desktop photo editing tools to invent a “photographic vision”, almost as if I was a painter. I combine in my work photography, theatre, movies and painting in order to create an epic image. I tell stories, illustrate and shoot pictures of my unconscious mind. It is a long and complicated process of work because my starting point is a blank page. It’s not really myself that I present on the scene of my Dramagraphies, but rather the roles I interprete, like an actor. The distance factor is important as it allows me to “project” the images rather than to interiorize them. I’m not telling the story of my life, I enjoy interpreting it. [Official Website]

J’aime son ironie sarcastique et légèrement moqueuse mais pas du tout méchante ,style Jean Yanne

Michel Lagarde … His work is exceptionally good: an outstanding use of photography and design.
