I was born in small Ukrainian town. Studied in St. Petersburg (Leningrad) and currently leaving in Israel.
My main interest is “finding beauty in everyday life”. I use urban surrounding or nature as “background” and always trying to capture an interaction between people and their environment. That’s why I defined myself as “a stationary street photographer” because first I pick up right spot and only after that I start filming. That’s how the Sodom project was born. I found non-crowded Dead Sea beach near Sodom mountain and came there almost each week-end. The beach is mainly used as a stop for tourist buses so I had wonderful opportunity to meet people from all over the world and capture them at one of most beautiful spot in the world. Except of street photography I am doing documentary projects mainly in Eastern Europe where I am trying to capture vanishing world of my childhood with geese horses and wooden carts (Transylvania (2017), Georgia (2017), Albania (2016),). Currently I am working on two projects. One of them “Order of randomness”. The project name is talking about itself and I am trying to depict randomness order of our life. [Official Website]
